Collection: Avon

Avon is the American direct-selling house founded in 1886 as the California Perfume Company by door-to-door book salesman David H. McConnell — the company that put perfume on the kitchen table of millions of households through the “Avon lady” and, from the 1960s, through a dizzying run of novelty glass decanters. TrendyGround stocks the collectible end of that archive: discontinued Avon colognes in their original Japanese-market boxes, including Avon Glass (1986), Avon Lahana (1991) and Avon Unforgettable in the Snow Bell decanter.

Avon’s Japanese editions are the ones collectors chase. Avon Japan was a listed Tokyo subsidiary by the early 1990s and commissioned its own colognes, caps, cartons and Japanese-language back labels — so the same fragrance name can exist in a US drugstore bottle and a Japanese bell-shaped decanter. Every bottle here is the vintage original, photographed as-is, with notes checked against the packaging.
