Memo Paris: Niche Perfume as a Travel Journal

Memo Paris is a French niche perfume house founded in Paris in 2007 by Clara Molloy, a Parisian poet of Catalan origin, and her Irish husband John Molloy. Every fragrance is built as a memory of a real place — the house calls it art of travel — and each scent is composed around a landscape, a raw material and a story rather than a marketing brief. Clara and John Molloy still own the house through their family group Memo International, and Aliénor Massenet has been the principal perfumer since the beginning, authoring most of the Cuirs Nomades leather series since 2013.

The catalogue runs five collections: Cuirs Nomades (leather reinterpreted per destination, opened in 2013 with Irish Leather), Fleurs Bohèmes, Graines Vagabondes, Exclusivities and the Escales Extraordinaires series of limited pieces that isolate one note from an existing creation. Bottles are the house's signature gold-and-black rectangular flacons, illustrated by commissioned artists — which makes older and discontinued bottlings immediately recognisable to collectors.

At TrendyGround we stock authentic, individually photographed Memo Paris bottles: Inlé, Irish Leather, Kedu, Lalibela Oud, African Rose, Moon Leather, Shams Narcissus and Corfu, including limited and discontinued releases that no longer appear in regular retail. Every bottle is inspected, photographed as-is (fill levels shown in the listing photos) and shipped worldwide from Hong Kong.
