How Aramis batch codes work: this house does not publish a code scheme, so no tool can honestly give you an exact date. Send us a photo and we will date it by hand.

How to find the Aramis batch code
On most Aramis bottles the code is stamped on the base of the bottle or printed on the bottom of the box. On flacons with a sticker it can also sit on the cellophane or the label edge. Read it exactly as printed — letters and digits both matter.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my code give a different year on another website?
Many 2-character or 4-character codes repeat every decade, so the same code exists for 2015 and 2025 bottles. Decoders also differ in how they interpret the month letter. Our reading follows the standard Aramis scheme, and we show a confidence level instead of pretending to be exact. If the year is close but the month differs, the code is most likely still being read correctly.
Can the code tell me if it is authentic?
The batch code tells you the production date — not authenticity. A fake bottle often carries a plausible-looking code. Use the code together with the bottle, the box printing and the scent to judge authenticity. Our fake perfume guide walks through it, or check our authentication service.
How long does Aramis perfume last?
Most fragrances keep well for 3-5 years if stored away from light and heat. Properly stored vintage bottles — especially sealed parfum — can last decades and often improve.
