Collection: Weil

Weil is the only great Paris perfume house that began as a furrier. Established in 1927 as the perfumery arm of Les Fourrures Weil — the Rue Royale fur house run by the brothers Alfred, Jacques and Marcel Weil — it created the first fragrances designed specifically to be worn with fur: Zibeline (sable), Hermine (ermine) and Chinchilla Royale. Composed by Claude Fraysse with his daughter Jacqueline, these aldehydic chypres became the smell of the Roaring Twenties and the post-war years.

Our selection of vintage Weil perfume includes rare Antilope Parfum de Toilette in its original box and an exceptional numbered flacon of Hermine pure parfum, both authentic, discontinued and photographed bottle-by-bottle. Antilope (1945–46) is a clove-and-clary-sage aldehydic chypre with Russian leather and ambergris; Hermine is a green chypre of magnolia, orange, jasmine and rose over oakmoss and labdanum.
