收藏: Roberto Cavalli
Roberto Cavalli is the Italian luxury house founded in Florence in 1970 by the flamboyant designer Roberto Cavalli (1940–2024), the man who patented a printing process for leather, invented the sand-blasted jean and made animal print a signature of Italian glamour. Its perfumes began in 2002 and were built into a modern portfolio under a Coty licence from 2012 — the era of Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum (2012), Nero Assoluto (2013), Paradiso (2015) and Roberto Cavalli Uomo (2016) — before the licence moved to Interparfums in 2023, which launched the current Signature line.
Collectors value Cavalli for two things: the discontinued Coty-era flacons, whose animal-print boxes and leopard-and-gold detailing make them instantly recognisable, and the fact that a superseded licence always means a superseded formula. Every bottle in this collection is a genuine vintage or discontinued edition, photographed as it is and shipped from Hong Kong.
