Houbigant is a French perfume house founded in Paris in 1775 by Jean-Francois Houbigant of Grasse, and one of the oldest fragrance houses in the world. Its perfumer Paul Parquet created Fougere Royale in 1882 - the first fougere and the first perfume to use a synthetic molecule (coumarin from tonka bean). In 1912 Robert Bienaime composed Quelques Fleurs, the first multi-floral bouquet and the acknowledged precursor of Chanel No. 5. The house also created Chantilly (1941, Marcel Billot) and Apercu (2000). TrendyGround stocks authenticated vintage and discontinued Houbigant perfume - Quelques Fleurs parfum, Chantilly Collection Royale eau de parfum, Chantilly flacons and Apercu - one bottle per listing, photographed individually and shipped worldwide from Hong Kong.
