收藏: Ungaro

Emanuel Ungaro was one of the great Paris couture houses, founded in 1965 by a designer who trained at Balenciaga and Courrèges and became famous for broad shoulders, generous draping and exuberant prints. Its fragrance history begins with Diva (1983) — a floral chypre composed by Jacques Polge, the perfumer who would later define Chanel — followed by Senso (1987), Ungaro (1991), Fleur de Diva (1997), Desnuda (2001), Apparition (2004), La Diva (2016) and Diva Rouge (2023). Ungaro is an unusual house in perfumery: it took no outside investment for thirty years, and its fragrances are today marketed under the Salvatore Ferragamo Group. Early Diva bottles — particularly the discontinued parfum (extrait) concentration and vintage eau de parfum — are the ones collectors seek, because the original chypre formula relied on the oakmoss and civet that later regulations removed.
